From growing up in New Orleans to becoming a young mom at Howard University, to breaking barriers as one of the few Black women in the tech C-suite, and now serving as Chief Communications Officer for one of the largest local governments in the Southeast — I know the power of story.
Today, I help leaders harness that same power to navigate crisis, build trust, and command influence. My expertise in strategic and crisis communications, executive messaging, and media training is grounded in lived experience: I know what it means to lead when the odds are stacked against you.
